The foundation of Danish Hydrocarbon Research and Technology Centre (DHRTC) is the partnership between five of Denmark's leading reasearch institutions:

• Technical University of Denmark
• University of Copenhagen
• Aarhus University
• Aalborg University

The partners collaborate across organizations, research areas and technologies in an effort to find the most innovative solutions, which can contribute to an increased recovery of oil and gas in the Danish part of the North Sea.

The Centre at DTU is the link between the partners. Here researchers from all institutions and reasearch areas can meet around research projects. This is also where all knowledge is gathered and integrated into workstreams.

DHRTC research are among others based on the oil industry's own data and aim at solutions which are applicable and useful for the industry.
