Centre for Oil and Gas - DTU

Danish Hydrocarbon Research and Technology Centre

The Danish Hydrocarbon Research and Technology Centre is a research centre with a central position in the energy transition. We conduct research aimed towards a responsible and efficient oil and gas recovery from the Danish North Sea while seeking to reduce the environmental and climate footprint.

The centre is located at DTU and affiliated with research groups at the University of Copenhagen, Aarhus University, Aalborg University, and the Geological Survey of Greenland and Denmark (GEUS).

DHRTC is backed by the DUC partners who awards the centre funding in the amount of DKK 1 billion over ten years.
